Getting Started

Everything you need to prepare for your first SÍA experience.

I’m new to SÍA. Which class should I book?

Choose a class that matches your experience, goals and preferred training intensity. If you are new to Reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with our Intro Course.

Many of our Mat Pilates, Barre, Yoga and Stretching classes are also suitable for beginners. The recommended experience level can be found in each class description.

Do I need previous experience?

No. Many SÍA classes are suitable for beginners. Selected advanced or high-intensity formats may require previous experience. Please check the individual class description before booking.

What types of classes does SÍA offer?

SÍA offers a varied selection of classes, including:

  • Reformer Pilates
  • Mat Pilates
  • Barre
  • Heated Classes
  • Sculpt
  • Yoga
  • Mobility and Stretching

Available class formats may vary depending on the studio and schedule.

How do I choose the right class?
  • Reformer Pilates: controlled, full-body resistance training
  • Mat Pilates: strength, stability and body awareness
  • Barre: Pilates-inspired training with ballet and strength elements
  • Heated Classes: dynamic training in a heated studio
  • Sculpt: energetic and strength-focused full-body training
  • Yoga and Stretching: mobility, flexibility and relaxation
What should I bring to class?

Wear comfortable activewear and bring water. Grip socks are mandatory for all Reformer classes. Mats and other training equipment are provided unless otherwise stated.

Are grip socks required?

Grip socks are mandatory for all Reformer classes for safety, stability and hygiene. You can bring your own or purchase a pair directly at the studio.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your first class and around 5 minutes before future sessions.

Booking & Cancellation

Booking, cancellations, waiting lists and attendance.

"> How can I book a class?

Classes can be booked through the SÍA Studios website or the SÍA app. A valid pass, Intro Offer or Membership is required to complete your booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

SÍA Members benefit from a shorter cancellation period of 6 hours before class.

Intro Offers, SÍA Light and selected passes are subject to a 24-hour cancellation period. The cancellation period applicable to your booking is stated in the corresponding offer conditions.

How can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel directly through your SÍA account on the website or in the app. Please make sure that the cancellation has been successfully confirmed.

What happens if I cancel too late?

If you cancel after the applicable cancellation deadline, the class credit will be deducted and cannot be refunded.

For Unlimited Memberships, the applicable late-cancellation or no-show fee may be charged.

What happens if I do not attend?

A booking that is not cancelled and not attended is considered a no-show. For credit-based offers, the credit will be deducted.

For Unlimited Memberships, a late-cancellation or no-show fee of CHF 45.– may apply.

What happens if I arrive late?

For safety reasons and to avoid disrupting the class, entry may no longer be possible more than 5 minutes after the class has started.

The booking will then be treated according to the applicable late-cancellation or no-show policy.

Can I transfer my booking to someone else?

No. Bookings, passes and Memberships are personal and non-transferable. Your guest must create their own SÍA account and book a place separately.

What happens if SÍA cancels a class?

If a class is cancelled by SÍA Studios, the corresponding credit will automatically be returned to your account.

What happens if a class is fully booked?

You can join the waiting list through the website or app, if available. If a space becomes available, it may be assigned automatically through the booking system.

Memberships

Membership options, benefits, payments and holiday freezes.

Which SÍA Membership is right for me?
  • 1× per week: ideal for creating a consistent weekly routine
  • 2× per week: ideal for regular training and steady progress
  • Unlimited: ideal for maximum flexibility and frequent training

If you prefer a shorter commitment, SÍA Light or a Multipack may be more suitable.

How long does a Membership run?

The Memberships displayed on our website have a contractual duration of 12 months, unless otherwise stated. Your exact start date and duration are shown before purchase.

How does monthly payment work?

The Membership fee is paid monthly for the full contractual duration. Monthly payment does not mean that the Membership can be cancelled monthly.

What benefits are included?

How does the complimentary Private Session work?

Eligible Members receive one complimentary Private Session worth CHF 150.– during their Membership.

The session must be booked in advance and is subject to instructor and studio availability. It is personal, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

How does the Guest Pass work?

Eligible Members receive one Guest Pass worth CHF 45.–. Your guest must have their own SÍA account, and the booking remains subject to class availability.

When do I receive my complimentary Grip Socks?

Your complimentary SÍA Grip Socks can be collected at the studio after your Membership has started. Available sizes and designs are subject to availability.

How does the 5% SÍACTIVE discount work?

Eligible Members receive 5% off SÍACTIVE products during their active Membership. The discount is personal and may not be combined with selected promotions or discount codes.

Can I pause my Membership during holidays?

Eligible Memberships include a holiday freeze of up to 5 weeks during the contractual period.

The freeze must be requested in advance and is subject to the applicable Membership conditions.

Do unused weekly classes roll over?

Unless otherwise stated in your Membership conditions, unused weekly classes do not roll over indefinitely. We recommend booking your classes regularly throughout your Membership.

Can I cancel my Membership early?

Memberships are binding for the agreed contractual duration and cannot ordinarily be cancelled early.

Exceptional cases may be reviewed individually and may require suitable documentation.

Are specific class times guaranteed?

No. Your Membership allows you to book eligible classes, but a place in a specific class or time slot cannot be guaranteed. All bookings remain subject to availability.

Passes & Intro Offers

Validity, activation, extensions and transfers.

Which Intro Offer should I choose?

Choose the offer that best matches how frequently you would like to train during your introductory period. Current options, prices and validity periods are displayed on our website.

Can I purchase an Intro Offer more than once?

Intro Offers are generally available once per new client and cannot be repurchased or combined unless explicitly stated otherwise.

When does my pass become active?

The activation date depends on the selected offer. Some passes begin on the purchase date, while others begin with the first booking or visit. The applicable conditions are shown before purchase.

Can I extend or pause my pass?

Passes are valid for the stated period and generally cannot be extended or paused unless this is expressly included in the offer.

Exceptional documented circumstances may be reviewed individually.

Can I share or transfer my pass?

No. Intro Offers, Multipacks, passes and credits are personal and non-transferable.

Can I receive a refund for unused classes?

Purchased passes, Memberships and unused credits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in the offer conditions.

Are passes valid for every class and location?

This depends on the selected pass. Some passes apply to all eligible classes and studios, while others apply only to specific formats or locations. Please check the offer description before purchase.

Health & Safety

Pregnancy, injuries, medical conditions and safe participation.

Can I attend classes during pregnancy?

Suitability depends on your individual circumstances, stage of pregnancy and previous experience.

Please obtain approval from your doctor or healthcare professional and inform your instructor before class. Certain exercises, Heated Classes or high-intensity formats may not be suitable during pregnancy.

When can I return after giving birth?

The appropriate time to return differs for every person. Please obtain medical clearance and inform your instructor before participating. We recommend returning gradually with a suitable low-intensity format.

Can I participate with an injury or medical condition?

Please consult a healthcare professional before booking if you have an injury, recent surgery, chronic condition or other medical concern.

Always inform your instructor before class. Participation may be declined if a class cannot be performed safely.

Are Heated Classes suitable for everyone?

Heated Classes may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, heat sensitivity or during pregnancy. Please consult a healthcare professional if you are unsure and ensure you are sufficiently hydrated.

Can instructors provide medical advice?

No. SÍA instructors can provide exercise guidance and general movement modifications but cannot diagnose medical conditions or replace professional medical advice.

What should I do if I feel unwell during class?

Stop exercising immediately and inform the instructor. Please do not attend class if you are feeling unwell, have a contagious illness or cannot participate safely.

Studios & Classes

Locations, facilities and your experience in the studio.

Where are the SÍA Studios located?

Current studio addresses and directions can be found on the SÍA website. Please check the location shown in your booking confirmation before attending.

Are all class formats available at every studio?

No. Class formats, facilities and schedules may vary depending on the location. The exact studio and class format are displayed during booking.

Are classes taught in German or English?

Classes may be taught in German, English or a combination of both, depending on the instructor and participants.

How long is a class?

The duration depends on the selected class format and is displayed in the schedule before booking.

Are changing rooms and showers available?

Facilities vary depending on the SÍA location. Please check the relevant studio information or contact us if you require specific facilities.

Can I take photos or videos in the studio?

Photos and videos may only be taken if they do not disrupt the class or compromise the privacy of other clients and instructors. Please ask for permission before recording anyone else.

Is parking available?

Parking options vary by studio. Please check the relevant location information and allow enough time to arrive punctually.

Qualitop & Insurance

Certification and possible health-insurance reimbursement.

Is SÍA Studios Qualitop certified?

Yes. SÍA Studios is Qualitop certified. Depending on your supplementary health insurance, part of your eligible training costs may be reimbursed.

Is reimbursement guaranteed?

No. Reimbursement depends on your insurer, supplementary insurance policy and individual coverage. Please check directly with your insurer before purchasing.

How can I request a confirmation?

To request a payment or participation confirmation for your health insurance, please email us at admin@siastudios.ch .

Please include your full name and any specific information or documents requested by your health insurance provider.

Which classes or passes are recognised?

Recognition and reimbursement depend on the insurance provider and purchased SÍA service. Please clarify the exact requirements directly with your insurer.

Payments & Gift Cards

Payments, Gift Cards, invoices and discount codes.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout. Depending on the purchase, payment may be completed online or through another payment method offered by SÍA.

Can I purchase a Gift Card?

Yes. SÍA Gift Cards can be purchased through the website and used according to the stated Gift Card conditions.

Can Gift Cards be refunded or exchanged for cash?

No. Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Can discount codes be combined?

Unless expressly stated otherwise, discount codes and promotions cannot be combined.

Where can I find my bookings and credits?

Your purchases, bookings and available credits can be viewed through your SÍA account on the website or in the app.
